Day 1 in Antigua

Yesterday was a very long day.  We finally made it to our hotel around 12:30 AM, unpacked and jumped into bed.  Breakfast at 8 and then Don and Paula gave Teresa and I the grand tour of Antigua, the hospital and Casa de Fe.  Some of the families had already arrived at Casa de Fe.  It tears your insides up to see these little kids.   We also were able to do a little shopping.  Melonie...mission accomplished.  Tonight there was a big group cocktail party and dinner with introductions and instructions.  Tomorrow is opening day when all the patients will be checked in, photographed (that's my job) and evaluated.
